In “The Seven Heavenly Palaces” by Anselm Kiefer in Hangar Bicocca, Milan, the dignity of the downfall, the memory and the deterioration are shown, but in a positive space (sculpture) in a closed hall. To regard the hall itself as a sculpture is possible with the same type of illumination and this picture attempts just that. The title refers to the work of Anselm Kiefer of the same name, which displays similar tendencies and perspectives. The idea of interior spaces is dealt with here in the transposition of interior-exterior spaces as the absence of the sky closes the courtyard forming an enclosed area. The steps of the courtyard thus become "La Ribaute" in Barjac, Kiefer's former studio. The burnt books in Kiefer's picture which form a library of information are replaced here with the information on the surfaces.
