Feelings are given room to unfold and grow, not through the remarkable but through the incidental, not the positive but the negative spaces. A sculpture or a temple occupies a square that can only be consumed. The non-sculpture or the empty space has to be filled with creativity or the compulsion to move onwards. In this sense, the Farnesina Temple was shifted out of the picture. |
