The name of the square shown is the same as a work of Rene Magritte. It is conceivable that a square may be named after a work of Magritte in the future; in this work, this possible event is shifted from the future to the present. However, the architecture is of the past: this transposition of time elements plays on Magritte's transposition of objects and terms. The rusticated block structures are reminiscent of the closed brick wall which in Magritte's picture is integrated into the tree. In contrast, the structures here, with their openings, are rather bearers of a labyrinthine principle.
